On April 10, 2024, during its session, the Holy Synod of the UOC issued a statement regarding the violation of the rights of believers and religious organizations of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, as reported by the Information and Education Department of the UOC.

The Holy Synod, convened at the Panteleimon Monastery in Feofania, Kyiv, under the chairmanship of His Beatitude Metropolitan of Kyiv and All Ukraine Onufriy, adopted the text of the Synodal Statement, which reflects the Church's position regarding the violation of the rights to freedom of religion in relation to believers and religious organizations of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
