Meeting of the Zhitomir Eparchial Council

During the meeting of the Eparchial Council chaired by the ruling bishop Metropolitan Nikodim, the clergy expressed full support for His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufry.

At the Eparchial Council, clerics of the Zhitomir eparchy unanimously supported His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufry of Kiev and All Ukraine, reported Metropolitan Nikodim of Zhitomir and Novograd-Volynsky on Facebook.

According to Met. Nikodim, in connection with the latest events in the life of the UOC, the meeting participants called for strengthening prayers for the Church and its Primate.

The ruling bishop accepted the proposal of the clergy and ordered the priests of the Zhitomir eparchy to pray for a good deed and the Church at 12:00 on November 13.

On November 13, 2018, a meeting between the President and the Primate and hierarchs of the UOC will take place at 14:00 at the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra.
